Delivered through a Managing General Agent (MGA) structure, RB Jones Aviation Finance delivers ANPI underwriting for banks, lessors, and investors in global aviation finance. It provides lenders with 100% indemnification in case of airline or lessor borrower payment defaults. Our clients benefit from:

Experienced leadership
The launch of the platform is supported by the establishment of a specialist Aviation Finance team, with more than 35 years of combined sector experience.
As Managing Director – Aviation Finance, Olaf Sachau brings extensive experience across aviation finance, credit insurance and insured structured transactions. His career includes senior roles at leading international insurance and financial institutions, with a strong track record of originating and executing complex, credit-insured aviation finance transactions across global markets.
Sachau is joined by Dan Hearn, Underwriter – Aviation Finance. Hearn’s expertise spans ANPI underwriting, risk assessment and transactional execution across a multitude of commercial aircraft finance structures. He is recognised for applying a disciplined approach to credit analysis that will support the platform’s focus on independent and technically rigorous underwriting.
